The front office always seems unorganized. Both times we’ve been here for wellness appointments we have been asked to arrive early in which we do, more than 10min early. We never expect to be pulled back however we are always waiting over 15-30min after the nurse leaves before the doctor comes in. For example we arrived at 9:35am (I mistakenly thought the appointment was for 10) my appt was at 10:20, we were called back around 10 or so, after the nurse left it was 10:20am, the doctor didn’t come in until 10:40am, it is now 11:19am and we’re just leaving. I have worked in a couple of pediatric clinics along with experience as a parent 10yrs and have never had a experience like I have both times. The doctor we’ve seen has always been polite however seems like because my child is on Medicaid that I must be incompetent. When applying for insurance on the marketplace I didn’t have any option as they qualified. However just because a patient has Medicaid doesn’t make it right for them to treat you as if you are incompetent on health or parenting. I will be pushing to get my child on a private insurance to ensure we aren’t treated this way again. It’s unfortunate that people who are on Medicaid are treated as if they are less than someone on private insurance. Maybe it’s the “Texas Medicaid” policy that requires but I shouldn’t be coached on what I should be doing as a parent for my child who is healthy. I could understand if there were concerns of my child’s health/hygiene/care however there wasn’t. We have had Medicaid before and have never been treated this way or felt this way for being on Medicaid. I will be searching for a better clinic for my children. More

I've just gotten off the phone with an operator. I was directed from their automated service to press "6" for an urgent matter, so I did and the women was unable to assist. She stated she could not take any messages. Odd. So why have the option for an urgent matter if we can't leave a message or be assisted? I explained my urgent matter and didn't receive any help other than they were on lunch and to call back then. SO AM I. I work during operating hours. Now, it is their lunch hour, I too work and am on my lunch break and have left messages, sent an appointment request and haven't heard back. Please make it make sense. More

Wouldn't let me go back with my wife who was there for confirmation of pregnancy! Told her I couldn't stay in the lobby either. I had to go sit in the car like some kind of criminal. This was supposed to be a special moment for my family and a great memory. I would never go back here, ever. More

The second call I made was for his healthy steps, they took data and everything, but then they said that the doctor who does that was already full for the whole month, so I should call later to see if any patient canceled, so I couldn't get an appointment for my son. during this time. The phone system is horrible. Office is disorganized and front desk staff are rude and Showbox care for the pt. The wait to see a sick child is 5 days or more. More

It was very Bad Experience , I had book appointment for full Body Check-up. Staff have been calling me for 2 days about confirmation and filling up the forms , But nobody tell me not to eat before Blood Test ( I didn’t know about the blood Test) They were more concerned about Data to collect Rather than patient well-Being. More

Wasn't a fan of the pushiness / complete disregard for our family history of serious injury post-shots. The pediatrician completely ignored and invalidated our concerns and the needs for our kid, but had plenty to say about getting shots despite our pending exemption,obvious outspoken position, and family history of reactions. Also, pretty much held a referral over our head because we disagreed. Biased, doubtful and eager to push us in a direction we AREN'T going. Sorry, doc. You're not going to change the minds of families who have seen what a real debilitating reaction looks like and have been paying medical / therapy / child-care bills out of pocket for years due to liability-free products y'all thrust on us. In Fact, I'd give everything in my possession to take away all the shots my daughter received. Parents (and pediatricians) please check out Learntherisk (dot) org if you want to look at risks beyond a watered down profit-motivated pamphlet you're given in a lobby. Clean facility, fast appointment, responsive, but long wait time. Also, went to a different practice the same week for a check up. They completely respected our decisions, didn't fight us on our position once, or bring it up for that matter, and genuinely helped with our needs, concerns and took the referral we needed seriously. Keep shopping if you don't trust your gut, parents. Personally I can't trust a doc that invalidates our experiences and ignores our concerns. More

Worst visit ever they have me wait for 4 hours. I really don't know why if I had an appointment which I switched because last time I was there a doctor tried to convince me that I WAS NOT pregnant so maybe because I didn't want to go see her face again not my lofault even if I wasn't pregnant she shouldn't add anything else other than the result that was wrong in this case with no touch at all! More

Dr Janice Hill said she doesn't take care of overall health at that clinic. She only does OB. We didn't discuss my meds nor that I am nursing. Only birth control. I am looking for Dr. to help me take care of my health. I moved from another state. I do NOT recommend Dr. Hill for anyone who cares for their health. She was not interested in my health. Getting an appt with any doctor is complicated and not easy to schedule. The staff is very friendly and paitent. More

We love Dr. Hallock he explaines everything so well and in detail. He listens and answers all my questions however, we are ready to move forward with a new clinic since lately is been so hard to schedule appointments. I honestly had the best experience the very first months but now the woman making the appointments is rude and seems not care I also tried the same provider different clinic to have my son seen sooner and I was going to get in but when they realized I was already sign up with them they immediately cancel it and said that I ONLY have to see Dr. Hallock and that they wouldn’t honor my appoint because they are only seeing new patients which is messed up. Why try to get new clients when you can’t care for the ones you already have. I am highly disappointed I really wished they cared more about newborns. More

I have been going to Health services for almost two years. Here lately I've been having a lot of problems so a few months ago I decided to make a physical exam for what was supposed to be in January. I waited 2 months for this appointment. Then they call last week and said my Dr. was going out of town and they needed to reschedule. Pushed by apt back to March like it was no big deal. I told the receptionist I couldn't wait that long. He said he would check for cancellations and would call me back but never did. I absolutely love Dr. Jackson and the pediatric side. But am very disappointed in the adult clinic and front desk services. More
