The front office always seems unorganized. Both times we’ve been here for wellness appointments we have been asked to arrive early in which we do, more than 10min early. We never expect to be pulled back however we are always waiting over 15-30min after the nurse leaves before the doctor comes in. For example we arrived at 9:35am (I mistakenly thought the appointment was for 10) my appt was at 10:20, we were called back around 10 or so, after the nurse left it was 10:20am, the doctor didn’t come in until 10:40am, it is now 11:19am and we’re just leaving. I have worked in a couple of pediatric clinics along with experience as a parent 10yrs and have never had a experience like I have both times. The doctor we’ve seen has always been polite however seems like because my child is on Medicaid that I must be incompetent. When applying for insurance on the marketplace I didn’t have any option as they qualified. However just because a patient has Medicaid doesn’t make it right for them to treat you as if you are incompetent on health or parenting. I will be pushing to get my child on a private insurance to ensure we aren’t treated this way again. It’s unfortunate that people who are on Medicaid are treated as if they are less than someone on private insurance. Maybe it’s the “Texas Medicaid” policy that requires but I shouldn’t be coached on what I should be doing as a parent for my child who is healthy. I could understand if there were concerns of my child’s health/hygiene/care however there wasn’t. We have had Medicaid before and have never been treated this way or felt this way for being on Medicaid. I will be searching for a better clinic for my children. More

The phone system is horrible. Office is disorganized and front desk staff are rude and Showbox care for the pt. The wait to see a sick child is 5 days or more. More

This place is incredible, the staff and nurses are always pleasant and very helpful. My primary care provider is the best ever. My appointments always start on time and the costs are very reasonable. They even have a sliding scale for payment. I've used this clinic for about three years now and have never been disappointed with the service or personal. We love Dr. Hallock he explaines everything so well and in detail. He listens and answers all my questions however, we are ready to move forward with a new clinic since lately is been so hard to schedule appointments. I honestly had the best experience the very first months but now the woman making the appointments is rude and seems not care I also tried the same provider different clinic to have my son seen sooner and I was going to get in but when they realized I was already sign up with them they immediately cancel it and said that I ONLY have to see Dr. Hallock and that they wouldn’t honor my appoint because they are only seeing new patients which is messed up. Why try to get new clients when you can’t care for the ones you already have. I am highly disappointed I really wished they cared more about newborns. More

I started going here because they worked on a sliding fee scale for uninsured patients. Because of the excellent care that I got, I stayed here when I got my insurance. Dr. Siegel is the absolute best. He treats his patients with the utmost respect and listens to them. He explains everything in great detail. There is no limit to what he will do to help. He has an awesome bedside manner and doesn't make me feel like he's rushing to get me out. He's in this field of work because he really cares about his patients. I've never had a bad experience at HSNT. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful as well as the medical staff I've dealt with. As long as Dr. Siegel is there, I will be, too. I am grateful and appreciate all that they have done for me at HSNT More

Yes I recommend I went to a CVS clinic got a blood panel to renew my prescriptions the report alarmed the RN who referred me to you. She was a dear but alarmed me so I immediately made an appointment with your office, I moved up to Denton august last year and the pandemic really shook things up. I have been with out my meds for over a year. Your office was so kind and saw me ASAP within 2 days I had an appointment and all my meds renewed. Very clean and your office has also referred me to a ear nose and throat practice to check my thyroid that may need special attention. I am very happy with the special care I have received. I was anxious before I checked in and was surprised to go in the back rooms as quickly as I thought it would be. Although it was an hour wait, Karen Gamble NP took her time with me. Answered my questions and talked to me of what was going on. Had to cancel my regular appointments at my previous location due to rising health care costs. I have two children who use this resource and it’s wonderful as they abide by a sliding scale and while the hours work with my working day the doctor and nurses are trained and wonderful. More

After MONTHS of my 5 year old son not sleeping much, waking up 3/4 times a night every single night and a couple medicine changes. He is finally sleeping again and i couldn't be more thankful and grateful for his doctor, in doing the research, communicating with me even outside of office hours, and going through I don't know how many prior authorizations for his insurance. Days are much easier to get through now that he's sleeping better, he isn't keeping my 9 year old son up all night long, and letting my husband and i rest and sleep. When people ask why i drive to denton from terrell to see a doctor, this is why. Doctors like theirs are hard to find, he is patient, kind, takes his time with each and every visit, communicates with me and checks on my children all the time, that drive is absolutely worth it to get the level of care my children get. I can't hardly wait for him to care for my daughter like he does my boys. He even checks on her and shes not even born yet. So if you need an amazing pediatrician dr jackson at health services of north texas is the absolute best. More
